Getting Started
These straightforward actions will deliver the Add-on to your Jira instance just in a few clicks. You can watch the video below with quick installation instructions, or check the images below with the specific steps.
1. Log in to your Jira account.
2. Open Slack Jira Integration App marketplace page, navigate and click the “Try it free” button in the top right corner.
3. Click the “Start free trial” button and complete the installation
Confirm the Add-on selection by hitting “Start trial” again and wait for a moment for the system to add the plugin to the Instance.
Once you see the following dialog box the app is all set!
Now it’s time to setup the Jira and Slack integration.
Once the Add-on has been installed, it’s possible to bridge Jira and Slack together. To do this, click the "Apps" dropdown list in the header and select the 'Slack Integration" app.
Click the “Sign in Slack” button to connect the Add-on with the Slack instance.
Select your instance and complete the authorization by clicking the “Allow” button on the bottom of the page.
Now you can see your instance in the "Connection" column. In the "Action" settings, you may disconnect an instance. You may also connect multiple instances with the "Add workspace" button.
You can activate and adjust notification settings.
Now you are ready to work!
