You can specify the events you want to be notified about. You can choose the types of events that you want to see in your Teams channel by selecting from the following options:
By default, all events are selected.
You can filter the type of notifications you want to see in your Teams channel. You can set a Basic Filter (priority, issue type, resolution, assignee, status, and reporter) or an Advanced JQL Filter.
By default, no filter is applied.
You can customize the format of the message that is sent in Teams with the following options:
The preview allows you to easily see how the message will appear.
Please, note that multiple notifications are sent if sending more than 10 criteria.

Bitband Jira Bot
You can use the Bitband Jira Bot in Microsoft Teams to perform actions related to your connected Jira projects. For this, navigate to the Bitband Jira Bot - Jira tab.
Creating Issue with the Bitband Jira Bot
To create a Jira issue from Microsoft Teams click the Create Issue button on the right.
Fill in the issue details, then click Save.
Create a group message based on a Jira issue
If you would like to create a group message to discuss a Jira issue with your colleagues, you can do so by clicking the chat icon next to the listed Jira issue.
Select the team, members and click save. The conversation will show up in Microsoft Teams under "Chat".
Create a Sub Issue from a group chat
After you have set up a group chat based on a Jira issue, you might want to create a sub/child issue based on the conversation. Simply select the three dots next to the message, go to More actions and click Create sub issue.
Fill in the details and click Save.
Please note that the same menu item is also available in connected channels, however there it will create a standard Jira issue rather than a sub-issue.
